I had this great honour to work with Orecchio Acerbo Editore, who’s work and attitude I admire so much.
Coming out this week, “Bruno” is a story written with a lot of sensitivity by Nadia Terranova, about Bruno Schulz, the Polish Jewish writer and artist. Illustrating this book was a very special and strong experience to me, and I will try to arrange my thoughts and gain some perspective so I can write about it here soon in another post.
In the meantime, there is an opening of the exhibition of the original illustrations next week, January 15th, in Tricromia gallery in Rome. There will also be a presentation of the book at the opening(see details below).
Unfortunately I will not be able to be at the presentation but I will be in Rome on January 27th for book signing. Hope to see some of you there!
